The Crozon peninsula is an isolated spot between Brest and Douarnenez. The sea has eaten into the coastline, exposing the sandstone and cutting into the shale, giving the coastline its ragged edge and opening up inlets and coves. This makes it a paradise for rock-climbers and windsurfers, but it is also a very pleasant place in which to laze about in the sun.
Morgat has a very long seafront. It is popular as both a family resort and with young watersports enthusiasts. At Plage de Morgat you will get safe and reassuring instruction on how to handle a catamaran. Morgat has some of the loveliest caves in Brittany, of which the best is the Grotte del'Autel accessible by boat.
